Giant Landscaping – Who Are We?
Giant Landscaping in Manchester New Hampshire was started in 2003 by Jeff Lavigne with a vision to provide local homeowners and commercial property owners with the best all-around landscaping services money could buy. Having worked for other landscape companies, Jeff learned about the mistakes that landscape companies typically make and set out to create a company that would be different from the rest. When you call Giant Landscaping today, you'll speak with a company owner, or your call will be returned promptly by Jeff or Tim.
You have questions about your landscape that deserves an honest answer. We will take the time to meet with you free of charge.
You expect honesty. Our proposals are finished promptly with up front pricing. We don't come back for more money when the job is completed. Unless there has been a change order written for a project, or is otherwise specified in the contract, what you see in the proposal is what you pay.
You expect quality. We stand behind our hardscape construction work with a two-year, no hassle guarantee.
You have a budget. We will work together with you to come up with a landscape maintenance plan that makes sense.
It is our commitment to our customers that is the strength of Giant Landscaping. As your full-service neighborhood landscape company, our reputation is very important. That reputation stands or falls based on how well we deliver on our promises. We never want to lose that connection with our customers that we have had as a smaller landscape company. Giant Landscaping has doubled in size in the past two years, despite an economic recession. We hope nobody noticed!
Jeff Lavigne was a bit more ambitious than your average kid. At 13, Jeff was mowing lawns in his neighborhood to earn extra cash. Sure, he enjoyed sports at Londonderry High School and hanging out with friends, but his early work endeavors sparked a dream in Jeff that would be realized 10 years later.
While pursuing a degree from the University of New Hampshire in Business Management, Jeff continued to work summers for a landscaping company in Londonderry NH, gaining valuable skills in landscape maintenance and construction. Jeff graduated in 2002 and started Giant Landscaping in 2003.

Tim Boyle grew up in Londonderry New Hampshire, and, like Jeff, had a history of hard work and entrepreneurship from a very early age. In addition to working in the Boyle family restaurant business, Tim also worked for local landscape companies in Londonderry during high school and maintained his own snowplowing route of about 50 driveways. After graduating Londonderry High School in 1998, Tim attended New Hampshire technical Institute and graduated with an Associates degree in Applied Science, majoring in automotive technology, and began working immediately at Auto Fair Toyota in Manchester New Hampshire as an ASE Master Technician. In addition to his "day job," Tim repaired automobiles on the side.
In 2002, tragedy struck the family business. A fire ripped through the building where the Boyle family pizza restaurant was, leaving it a total disaster. Tim left his job to partner with his dad and rebuild the restaurant business from scratch. Working as much as 90 hours a week in the fledgling restaurant business paid off. By 2006, the restaurant was running well and turning a good profit. It was at this time that Tim re-connected Jeff Lavigne, his longtime friend from high school, to help Jeff out with winter snow plowing in his rapidly growing landscape company. It turned out to be a perfect fit. In 2009, Tim sold his share in the family restaurant business and joined in a partnership with Jeff as co-owner of Giant Landscaping. Tim brings his business experience and mechanical ability to strengthen those areas for Giant Landscaping.
